Terms of Service

Article 1 — Purpose

These terms of service (TOS) govern the contractual relationship between African Flavors and any customer placing an order on the africanflavors.com website.

Article 2 — Prices

Prices are indicated in US dollars (USD), inclusive of all taxes. African Flavors reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

Article 3 — Orders

Any order placed on the site constitutes a firm commitment to purchase. The customer will receive an order confirmation by email. African Flavors reserves the right to cancel any order in case of product unavailability or payment issues.

Article 4 — Payment

Payment is due at the time of order by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or other accepted payment methods. Transactions are secured via PCI-DSS certified providers.

Article 5 — Delivery

Delivery times are indicative. African Flavors will make its best efforts to meet these deadlines but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond its control.

Article 6 — Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with current legislation, perishable food products are not eligible for a right of withdrawal. In case of a defective or non-compliant product, the customer has 24 hours after receipt to report the problem and request a refund or replacement.

Article 7 — Liability

African Flavors cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the products. The liability of African Flavors is limited to the amount of the order.

Article 8 — Force Majeure

African Flavors shall not be held liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure (natural disaster, strike, pandemic, etc.).

Article 9 — Applicable Law

These TOS are governed by US law and specifically by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of that state.
